Hijmans van den Berghgebouw is located in Utrecht Science Park. The building houses courses in the (bio) medical field and belongs to the Faculty of Medicine (UMC). Characteristic of the building are the three vertical ‘tubes’ which intersect the five storeys of the building. Open student workstations are located on each floor at the central area between the tubes. There are enclosed spaces on the facade, including lecture halls and offices.
